Hi Folks,
i read from the article below about nutritional values of Bloodworms
https://www.caudata.org/cc/articles/foods2.shtml
may i know if nutritional values of frozen bloodworms is similar?
Bloodworms 52.8 9.7 0.38 0.90 0.42

i see that Bloodworms has higher calcium value compare to blackworms and tubifex worms. i feed a mixture of chopped earthworms and gut loaded mealworms to my aquatic caduates. but sometimes my aquatic caduates do not like to eat mealworms.
Earthworms are not available all the time. so i am thinking of frozen bloodworms as a substitute.

thanks and cheers!

Hi! I use both live blood worms and frozen cubes and I would say that there is little to no real difference from what I can tell just by feeding. I use the frozen ones during the summer (as it's extremely hot where I live and my parents do not allow live worms in the fridge) but switch over to lives ones (which are kept in a cool area in my room). I hope this helps!
