Is not the Guardian considered a kind of sketchy, tabloid-like publication? Or do I have my UK papers confused?

I think you may have it confused with one of our other tabloid papers.

It's an awful, badly written article.
I know from past experience that this 'news'paper tries to scrape out whatever it can in order to have 'news' to report. I worked for solicitors who got hounded daily by one of their journalists. They also frequently get their facts wrong and also have a tendency to spell names wrong too.

Their second sentence is incorrect. They are going with out of date inaccurate information. It is a hype piece that stretches the truth.

Well I'm going to take this slightly lightheartedly here so forgive me if I offend anyone with my sense of humour...

Show yourselves "serious financial criminals, drug traffickers and child pornographers"... raise your hand if you're using caudata for crime... come on own up!:violent:

I tried to send my newts out to rob banks for me, but they knocked over a bait store instead.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
