All of a sudden, one of my T. granulosa is out of the water and acting sickly, not responding to food etc. It has always been the skinnier of the two, but it ate very well, was active in the water. What could be the problem and how should I respond best?

Are they CB or WC?? It´s just the first thing that came to my mind, but could it possibly be parasites? Since you say it always ate well, but still was the skinnier one, maybe that can be a possible reason. An infestation or sudden bloom of the parasites could be causing the sickly behaviour...
Just a thought though...best of lucks.

Thanks for the reaction Rodrigo, they are WC unfortunatly. I've had them for a couple of months now... Are there any known treatments one can give against a possible bloom of parasites?
