I have about twenty breeders.
That's good news, congratulations !

Anyways, for a long-term population management, it would be safe to act so that all breeders have the same odds to let descendants (but perhaps you already plan it).

Danube crested newts can be somewhat agressive and some individuals could dominate the others.

They are now almost a year old I have 4 left from 6 I kept for myself

Nice and chubby !
They are tricky to start with but have got the nack now ,Hopefully there will be more egg this year

No breeding 2016-2017
2018 with an old male has so far had 3 dud eggs after 1month of almost daily mating activity .Originally had 4females and 1 male in the tank the numbers where alternate between 2 females and 3 females .

Here it's the same as every year, another batch of larvae, about 25 i think.
Isn't there anyone with whom YouTube van setup a Breeding program?

I have asked two guys in the UK who have adults ,but they aren’t interested as far as I can tell .
I do however have incomplete arrangements to pick up a small group of CB juveniles in Europe later this year , I can but hope to have some success in the future from them

Juveniles are on land except 2 and are doing well
