Hi, I live in the U.K, and I'm wondering where you could get a female fire belly newt. As I have been searching for breeders that sell them and I haven't found any. Do you guys have any idea where I can buy one??

Hi, I have the opposite problem, I own a female but I can not find a male. I would gladdly borrow yours to reproduce them but I live in Montreal Quebec Canada.
I you hear that someone in Quebec as a male to sale or that I could borrow in exchange for half of the babies they will reproduce I would be more than glad to do It. If I hear something like that for the UK I will get in touch with you.
Thank you.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
