Question: Shrunken toes?

What does it mean when newt's toes shrink?:confused:


I have an adult male CFBN ( if any one follows the wc one) and his toes over the last two months since his attempted escape have shrunken significantly.

He still eating fine still a lil porker but his toes keep shrinking, what does this mean?:confused:


and if it is an illness what do i do?

I´ve experienced this with a couple of species and it didn´t seem to have any ill effects. The toes were regrown with time as if nothing had happened. No idea what causes it, though...

Thanks for the response. Do you think it spreads? Should I separate him?

I'll try not to get too concerned.
