Hi guys.

Lately - as in the past two weeks or so - my Chinese firebelly of eight-ish years has been leaving me poops that are shaped a little differently than what I'm used to. Usually, he'd leave the 'pellet'-like shape, but now it's a bit skinnier and longer, as if it's been rolled and stretched out. Should I be worried about this?

His behaviour hasn't changed significantly. He just seems to find shelter a little more often. His appetite is still great and he's rather eager to come up and greet any form of movement that he sees.

Hi,
I don't think there is any need to be worried, if its behaviour is still the same and its appetite is constant, it may just be because it is growing up and is a mature adult.
