Hi! We have our first ever axie. We've only had him/her for a week. So I have so many questions

I'm not sure of where to ask so will start here :)
Our axie doesn't seem to want to eat. Is this normal while they are adjusting to a new environment? 'Pinky' is about 3 months old so still very small and as I mentioned only been with us for a week. We're also not sure if Pinky is an albino or leucistic as I can't seem to find which one as Pinky is white but doesn't have black or pink eyes??? Could he be a golden albino? He only has very very pale pink gills

Anyway Hi again and help!!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
