Hello everyone. This is just a reminder that the Halifax Reptile Expo is just a few short days away! Stop in to purchase a new reptilian pet or obtain husbandry information on your next exotic species; it is a rare opportunity to buy morphs and species that are not commonly available in pet stores and meet the breeders. Stock up on insect or rodent feeders and buy enclosures, supplements and reptile supplies at amazing rock-bottom prices! Get your picture taken with a reptile or join your children in colouring and games in the Children's Corner. There is face painting for the children and a gifted tattoo artist for the adults. Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
