Hi everyone,
Just got a new little Axie today! :) I've been looking for a golden albino for ages so when my LFS had one there today I jumped at the chance!
This is Peach! Only about two inches long and super super cute, I'm dying over the irridophores in his little body, face and gills!
Please give him lots of love. :)

Peach is so adorable!! Look at the little upside-down horse-shoe shape irridiphore on his/her head in these pics! Just beautiful.
I agree with Donna, I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of pictures :D

SO CUTE! I would love a golden axie someday. Peach is such a good name. I love it when they're little and you can see their shiny brain!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
