found my wildtype axolotl (13+ years old) floating upside down and very bloated, ph is 7.4, no ammonia, consistent 17c temp.
I've started fridging her about 24 hours ago and no improvement.
I tried keeping the water level low so she couldn't flip upside down while fridging but she will always flip.
she is bloated on her belly and on her hind legs, there is also some discharge coming from her butt.
her two other tank mates look and are acting fine.

I did post this on the axolotl subreddit before https://www.reddit.com/r/axolotls/comments/bpkxc9/help_found_axolotl_floating_upside_down_need_help/

and did post pictures https://imgur.com/a/SN7Zbxx

any advice or help is much appreciated

In my unprofessional opinion I think it's bloat due to water retention, probably caused by organ failure.
There are a few threads with similar looking axies where that was the case.
There's a chance it's gas build up, but I think it might be water.
Not sure there's any course of action besides a vet trip.

its gas because her belly is floating out of the water by a few centimeters (she is unable to correct her self)
