Hi
I have started a thread describing an assignment I am having to do and want to exhibit various Tylototriton species. I have been searching through forums and researching possible enclosure designs for these animals.
The favour I wish to ask is would it be possible for some keepers to post their enclosures in this thread and I'd like to ask permission to use these photos in my assignment. Obviously I will follow all copyrighting rules and credit you as a source.
This is an entirely hypothetical idea, and so your photos will not actually be used other than in my essay.
Thanks
Sean

Here are a couple shots of my Verrucosus tank. It has about 7" of water and a large mossy island running across most of the back of the tank. IMG_0584.jpg

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
