Hello I'm curious if sponge filters need a lift tube I just noticed I have a sponge filter lying around but I cannot find the lift tube. Could I just put the air tube lower in the sponge? If not where can I get something the replace the lift tube. Thank you for your time.

Thorninmyside:Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation+1
