Ive been feeding my axies mainly earthworms from my garden which are a bit small and scrawny looking. I was at work today digging out prickles, (I work on a dairyfarm) and when I dug one out I found the juicest, biggest, healthiest looking earthworms I've ever seen. I tried in a few more places and these excellent worms are just everywhere.
Now I know I shouldn't feed my axies any worms that have been subjected to chemicals and whatnot. I know for a fact that the only chemical that is put on the grass is Nitrogen in the form of urea fertiliser, which is only put on the farm a few times a year. And they also get Nitrgoen from the cow poo (obviously)
Is it bad for me to feed my axies these worms?I imagine that the nitrogen can't be in the worms THAT much cus it goes into the plants, but I figured it would be better to ask..
