I recently started feeding extra small soldier fly larvae (phoenix worms) to my red efts, and I am finding that some of them seems to be passing through their digestive system almost completely undigested! Does that mean they are getting no nutrition from them and that these are not a suitable food? Or would feeding smaller quantities more often allow them to digest better? They are currently eating 3-5 extra small phoenix worms every 3 days. Would it help if I fed them 1 or 2 worms every other day instead?
