Hello Tim and Folks,
Thanks your are great and helpful guys. By the way i search the forum about Pseudotriton ruber tank setup examples. it seems to me Pseudotriton ruber does not really need plants? they seems to live around rocky cold flowing streams habitats and lay eggs under rocks or slates. so my setup consist of a few rocky caves, a large floating turtle dock and an air bubble filter is sufficient for them? thanks and cheers! |

Skip the turtle dock and stack some rocks such that they emerge from the water, and lay some bark slabs on them to provide terrestrial cover. Moss and some plants are useful to contain substrate and improve water quality.
