Hi!

Just wanted to ask what happened to my answer in newt & salamander basic help area (I don't remember the title right but I think it doesn't matter answering my guestion). I saw it there and then it disappeared. Was it wrong to link another website (I gave an address to Finnish herp/amphibian web site when I noticed the starter of the thread was a Finn, too) or maybe something else? Just curious, I've read the rules and don't want to do against them but maybe something I didn't remember?

It was probably the link. I thought it was nice of you to offer some eggs to Keiko and hit the like button, but with the pet trade being what it is, links to herp dealers are usually removed.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
