Dear forum members,
Still finding it incredibly difficult to determine sex in this species. If anyone has any tips or tricks or images to help I would be grateful
Many thanks

They can be very hard to sex until they mature. Mature males have much larger, wider more "angular" heads than females and are generally much skinnier. In my experience sub-adult males will have larger heads as well.

This website has great photos of both sexes and may give you a better idea of what to look for.

Thanks Otolith,
Im still a little unconvinced by the images on this website, sort of noteworthy that an adult female is not specifically mentioned.
It would be great if someone could post a high def image of a 100% adult male and female head, so I can really see the differences?
I suspect a lot of sex determination is done behaviourally, but a cast iron morphological method would be great.
Cheers
Warren
