unless the animals quality of life is at risk or is actively being lowered due to their deformities they should not be put to sleep. if they have the will to survive and are still eating and passing waste, being playful and swimming around, and don’t seem to be in pain, keep them. people are so quick to cull dwarves or kinked tail axolotls, when they can realistically have a good (if somewhat shortened) life. as they get older they can have intestinal issues in which case euthanasia may be the best option, but as long as they are young and spry and happy, they absolutely should be kept alive.Hi, I'm new to this site and new to axolotls, I've hatched some just after Christmas and a few have wavy tails?? They are all eating and pooping well. I'm keeping 2 but going to rehome the other 6. I need some help please.... a lady took 2(well her boyfriend collect two, but shes now telling me they are deformed and should of been culled or put to sleep???? Please help
