There are so many places that you can look and see your self :D
Towards the top of the page is a black bar and there is a pull down menu called ' Albums and Galleries' You can see plenty of pictures there.

Better still there is this ------> Caudata Culture Home Page
This loads of information on the different salamanders and more to the point their care. When looking for a new pet you need to provide it with the best care possible, some may not be suitable if you can not keep them cool enough. I would strongly advise you to look through there and see if there is anything suitable, then pop back onto the forum and read as many posts as you can so you can get as much information that you can.
Finally, once you have decided, let us know :D

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
