"Reptiles and Amphibians of Europe (Princeton Field Guides)" By E. Nicholas Arnold. Is it a good book?

I'm not familiar with the Princeton edition- presuming it's the same as the Collins one, then yes, it is very good.

It's basically the best European herp field guide. Obviously it doesn't go into as much detail on the urodele species as Griffiths' book does.

There are two editions (the first one was Arnold & Burton)- I summarised some of the differences in a short review here some time ago.
