Default Broken leg/might need amputated?

Hi I don't know how to use this site yet so hang with me. Last week I looked into my axolotl tank and found my axolotls leg all messed up (I have another one so its possibly a bite) The pictures I'll attach to this are all from today. It's looked like this for a week with no improvement. I've given him tea baths but still nothing. I'm thinking about just getting sharp pair of scissors and amputating it. You can see the bone and it's clearly broken. If anyone has any ideas on what I should do/opinions on if I should amputate it then please let me know!

(please don't suggest going to the vet. No vet around here knows about axolotls)
