Here is Bart's tank again, I changed the plants around and I moved the gravel in such a way that there is a perfect little outcrop from the rock for Bart to hide under.

Notice the fan blowing directly onto the tank (lowers the temp by about 2 degrees [better than nothing])

The fan would be much more effective if blowing on the surface of the water, increasing evaporation and all. Not sure how you could get that to work though.
