Wow, Danni
I just replied to your earlier request, and by the look of things, you are in luck. I posted new babies and eggs from Brisbane to Sydney, express. So they left here 6pm and arrived next morning. As babies don't need to eat for 24 to 72 hours, I put a whole bunch (maybe 70)and the last 6 eggs which had not hatched, in a zip lock bag, got all the air out so the water did not slosh around, rolled it up in bubble wrap and packed it in a cardboard mailing tube, as they are really tough. I did make a big mistake, though. I put the bag on the bubble wrap and rolled them up, but I should have taped up the top of the bag, rolled it up then wrapped it in the bubble wrap. By the time April got them a lot of water had leaked out, but there were still some live ones and the eggs. The eggs are really tough so they travel easily. Good luck and I hope you are a mum soon! Sorry I forgot to subscribe to this so didn't realise anyone had replied.
She is off laying some more eggs riht now >.< I already posted some to the north island, some died but for the most part, they made it their safely. I can do an overnight signed courier parcel for about $7 or less, in a small bottle, packed with newspaper or some kind of padding for them. Feel free to email or text me 0278584846 or flippinmental_lpchick@hotmail.com |
