Where the heck am I supposed to get one in CA?

I would look up some biological supply companies, most have axies available. I hope you know that they (all ambystomatidea) are illegal in California. But I'm sure that you can order some from any bio supply company that offers them.

Niles Biological offers them in case you haven't seen it...but not full grown ones of course.

I think their is possibly money to be made breeding axolotls for CA people...LOL!
