could the pigment differences in the gills be effecting their ability to pick up oxygen from the water this would cause the difference in size wouldnt it (one compensating for the other). Though from the older pics the size difference isnt so obvious.



ps he is really lucky to have you rather than someone else who wouldnt know what a special axie they have.
