Default CB Fire Salamanders for sale

For sale USA: 2 races/locales/types of CB Portuguese Fire Salamander, Salamandra s. gallaica: "Serra de Arrábida" (first photo) and "Serra de Grandola" (second photo). Grandola has not been offered in several years here. These locales should not be mixed.

The color patterns on these currently bear little relation to what the adults will look like. These guys are all CB 2019 and between 5.5 and 7.5cm. (~2-3 inches). The Arrábida are from several mothers. The Grandola are all from the same clutch.

Eating small crickets (large 1/8 - 1/4").

Very heat tolerant for Salamandra and adults are very tame for terrestrial salamanders. Parents of both are about 18-20cm / 7-8 inches long.

Prices: if you have purchased from me before, you can take $10 off a single order of these as a thank you. Arrábida are $70 each and Grandola are $80 each. Buy 5 of one type and get a 6th free. Further perks considered for big orders.

Shipping is by FedEx Priority Overnight to your local FedEx staffed location that will hold live animals (and not a former Kinkos or a Walgreens thank you). Orders of 5 or more salamanders have a flat shipping fee of $55 in the continental US. Smaller orders are at cost. I do not ship to Washington DC or outside the lower 48 states due to the Lacey Act affecting fire salamanders. Also, please know your own state's regulations - some have quirky rules about exotic salamanders.

All payments by PayPal. I reserve the right to ask for references from other hobbyists to know if your payment history is good.

Default Re: CB Fire Salamanders for sale

Some random parent photos. First 2 are Serra de Arrábida, third and fourth are Serra de Grandola. Both locales have a lot of variation but you can see they are different. Grandola tends to get a lot of bronze. Some Arrábida have a lot of red on the head, and Grandola can have a lot too. These 2 locales are pretty close to each other in Portugal and are both in the "molleri" group of gallaica.
