Filter size

Hello! I've bought a hang on filter for my tank.. it says it's suitable for aquariums up to 120L my tank is 90L.. is that over kill? This is to replace my cheap filter. My tank is fully cycled.

Nope, not overkill at all :)

I have a 20 gallon tank with a 30 gallon filter. I have the flow turned up to maximum and built a filter baffle out of a plastic bottle so the flow isn't as strong. I also have a sponge filter rated for 20 gallons.
