Hello! I'm Raven and I'm from GA- though now I live in chilly Maryland....
I've had my Axolotl sense June and I got to watch him grow! I think Ori is Albino because he's white with red gills and dark eyes.
I Love exotic animals, and also have cichlid fish, a grumpy chameleon and a corn snake. Eventually I will have a new bearded dragon- and one day, my husband and I will move into a bigger house so we can get more animals! I had the privilege of marrying someone who loved exotic animals almost as much as I do!
I love art and music, science and fiction writing. I'm almost completely blind- but I love photography and building backgrounds for reptiles and amphibians!
I hope to get to know you guys soon!

Theravie!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
