I have a 3 month old JFB, born in my tank. He's isolated in his own deli cup with a few plants. Water partially changed every day, fully changed every other day. He's eating HBH pellets, chopped frozen blood worms & beef heart. He's been growing well.
A few days ago, I was horrified to find one rear leg atrophied, which fell off as soon as he swam. Today, his other rear leg is transparent & atrophied & looks ready to fall off, too! I can't imagine what's happening, I'm extremely careful with those teeney, tiny legs, transferring him to new water using a plastic spoon & changing water out w/ a turkey baster. I'm sooo careful not to injur him.
PLEASE help. I just can't imagine what's happening to him & what I can do to help.
