Party Boy was delivered by the stork last wednesday - Mamba actually comes from the same brood but must be the runt - at any rate I picked him up today.

They all look great- Moopy looks really similar to my Carlito. It's great sand that you used in the tank.

hehehehehhehe! Remember that I will come and steal your Moopy oneday!

Lol I think its the sand used in making cement, ironically enough. It was laying around in the floor of my garage for 6 years before I finally found a use for it :p

Bad Morrissey! Don't make me lock you under the stairs again!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
