using site to research keeping methods
:D

There are some great resources on this site that can be used for research, but by far the best resource is opening questions up to the forum. Anything you want to know can be answered by the people on this forum.

Best of Luck,
Alex

Even better than just asking every question is searching the forum for threads that may already answer your question. Most subjects have been covered many times already and it's great to see and cull the information that has been collected over the years of this forum's existence - it often goes quite beyond the quick answer by whoever happens to be online at the moment.

Welcome to the Forum, oh verbose Gill.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
