First off, I don't mean any disrespect to Shromm, in fact, I have had good feedback(thank you Shromm!) from him. I want to check the satisfaction with the delivery before I make a commitment. I am very interested in his juv. Alpine's! Who has experience dealing with this breeder?

Fantastic! Job well done! I have no doubt he is top notch, and conveniently 1 state over! Again thank you for taking the time to do the "leg-work", I didn't know where to start...

I have purchased animals from Mike & I will be picking up a few more animals from Mike next week. His animals are in great shape and he is extremly knowledgeable and real nice person to work with.

Mr. Shrom is a very reliable source of healthy amphibians, and you can contact him for any additional information you may require for the well being of your caudates.

I agree with the above as well. He has a wide range of cb newts and sals available and they always arrive in excellent condition.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
