hey everything's calmed down and looking good with the baby axolotl now. I have seen them all eat regularly on black worms. They are starting to really grow rapidly, now each longer than an inch
The Parents are also looking awesome, and have recently laid another 150ish eggs. These im sad to say i have to get rid of. My other tanks are all full
anyways i have more than enough babies.
thanks for all the help on my last post guys
all of them would have died by now if i didn't learn that you need to separate the brine shrimp from the eggs, and the suggestion to buy black worms was more than valuable

That sounds fantastic Danny!
If you feel you have too many babies or eggs, then why not post an ad for them in the sales section?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
