Here are some photos taken today (please excuse the blurry pics with a pink undertone. My kids broke my camera and it died this morning, NOT HAPPY, just 3 days before Xmas!!) I will get a new camera and try again tomorrow. Enjoy until then!:D

Slimey and Squishy were not really impressed with having their photo taken today. I think that they are still grumpy with me about the renovations on the tank!!:(

Sorry I have more photos.

These ones I took a week ago (before the renovations, the blurriness[not a word? Well it is now!] and before the pink undertones)!!

You can really see why I said my camera has had it. Oh well!!

Love your new tank, Kira!

Slimey and Squishy are very lucky!

They're still adorable! And I love your new set up, it looks great - good work!

They'll get over it, in time...Once a worm hits the water, all is forgiven and forgotten lol.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
