I'm starting up a couple of fish tanks and am going to start fish breeding. My mum won't let me feed the guppies i get but i will anyway. She says they are too pretty. I am buying a tank shelf so i can place a lot of tanks on there. I won't have the fish for at least a month because i have to get the biological filter going and all water parameters perfect for each fish tank. It's gotta be great! :D I am also thinking of buying a wild type axolotl because i lost my last wild type and don't have one at the moment.
Mitch.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
