Good bye;)

Wow! You're lucky to have gotten to see so many nice species in the wild! I especially love those shots of the Calotriton asper.

Amazing photo survey. I especially like the second shot of Pleurodeles waltl.

great pictures!

My dad's is from the French Pyrenees (Font Romeu, near Perpignan) and every time I go visiting family I go field herping in the hope of finding Calotriton asper, but I still haven't seen those guys in the wild...

Great picture of the Parsley Frog as well!

Nice shots Pere. We are lucky to have a large variety of amphibians...the advantages of living in a country with such a varied climate.
Those Calotriton pics are great...i´d love to see the species some day.

Wow those are great pictures, thanks for sharing with us!

Fantastic set of photos. Thanks very much for posting them here.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
