Hey. I noticed that my newt has these really small black bumps or circles in between its toes and recently it has gotten one on its leg where the joint is. I was just wondering if this is normally or if they are parasites (the are very small) They are really hard to get pictures of, and the pictures dont really help but here.. If you look on the second picture you can see a blur of black b/t the toes on the left foot and the other picture has one on the right leg.. In person they look like little black bumps. thank you

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
