What kind of live moss can i use to create sort of a carpet on the land area for my fire bellies? Something that can cling to rocks, gravel, and flower pots. Also what kind of moss can be used on the land areas as well as in the water?

I've heard Java moss mentioned quite a bit, can this moss live on both land and water? I'm lookin for one that carpet some areas in the dry portion of the tank, that can also go into the water a bit to provide a smooth transition between the land and water.

thanks alot

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
