I am really concerned. I have only had my axie for three days now and I have been stressing non-stop, thinking that i have not done something right. At first my axie was swimming around a lot, almost trying to 'escape'. I checked the water and everything was as it should and it seems that for now he has calmed down and is a bit more content with his new home. However, today I noticed what looked like a small white patch just below one of his 'feathers' or 'filaments'. I have never kept an axolotl before so I cannot be 100% confident whether this is a fungal infection or if I am just being paranoid. I have read a lot about salt baths and keeping my axie in the fridge. I am concerned that putting him in the baths and fridge will be a too sudden change considering that he has just seemed to settle into his new tank. Should I do it anyway just in case it is a fungal infection or should I wait maybe another day and see whether it progresses.
All help is really appreciated.
Thanks
