My axolotl is currently on a course of anti biotics due to reasons on my other posts.
I need to inject worms with the anti biotics and has so far struggled and lost a days course of the drugs due to not being able to correctly inject.
If anyone has any ideas on how i would do this with out loosing the drugs it would be most appreacheated.

Hi,

I responded on your other thread. Basically you got to to freeze stun the worms first, otherwise live worms will be difficult to inject (wriggle) plus they can expel injected fluids. Refer for more details on the other thread.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
