My name is Robert,
I have been involved in herps for over 30 years, at times as part of my job. Currently I am working on a road mortality survey project with Taricha torosa torosa. I am covering 1.8 kilometers of road for the entire season (8 months), doing weekly surveys. The goal is to determine which section of road has the highest mortality and why (habitat, lack of safe crossing etc) and then to have appropriate amphibian crossing culverts installed.
I also do a bit of bullfrog removal in and around Ambystoma californiense habitat.
Have a good one,
Robert
