I have some Dwarf Crayfish ( non aggressive max size 1.5 inch) Would the Axolotls eat them?

I also have a self cloning crayfish (non aggressive) that reproduces quickly it grows to a max size of 3 inches Would that be a good tank mate or a good food source?

Thanks for the info

i had cray fish my self
i say its very bad idea i had crayfish mixed with crabs and fish(fresh water crabs 3 cm long around one inch)
in the end everything besides the crayfish everything was cut like an paper puzzel
and i know axolotls can regenerate everything but still not an idea thats good for your axies health

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
