We've had our Axie for a few weeks now, she seems quite happy but I thought I'd share this odd thing she does. Every time I clean the tank I flatten the sand with the vacuum, and a few hours later it's all ridged up again! Seems she has pretty specific ideas about how her home should be. Or she's an aspiring architect!!
In the second pic she's sifting for the remains of her lunch. I usually feed her 2 times a day but I didn't last night, and today she seemed very hungry indeed!! She's gobbled up every single worm and is now sleeping it off under the plant. I think she has the hiccups though
