Unfortunately, whatever site you hosted this on (probably youtube) is on the blocklist at the public schools where I work.

I guess I'll have to wait til I get home to meet Walter.

Finally watched it...lol, very cute!

Is there any reason you don't feed by hand? I was literally getting frustrated by how many times the worm was dropped and you had to suck it back up. It would be much quicker if you just grabbed the worm and dangled it in front of its mouth.

Adorable! It's nice to see this, because it shows that the weird things mine does are also quite normal :D

When this video was shot I was still cutting the worms in half and I hate touching them when they're cut in half. He recently took on a full worm so now I juust dangle them into the water and he comes up and takes them.

Thanks for thr comments.

Walter is great. I am very jealous. It's been about 12 years since I've had an Axie, and now they're pretty much impossible to find. I remember coming into the room with a worm, and it was like mine were watching me, and waiting for me to drop it in!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
