hey i reall want a axolotl but i dont know if there ilegal in north las vegas:happy::cool::confused::mad: i all ready know where i can buy an albino for really cheap 45$:p

Axolotls are not illegal in Nevada.

The biggest problem you'll have is keeping them cool enough. Axolotls do not do well at sustained temperatures above 70F.

Get a fridge for teh summer and you should be ok.

Set it on 1 and keep your axie at a cool 60 degrees all summer long

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
