The Caudata Caption Game

I have an idea for a game. Maybe it'll take off, maybe it'll die after two posts; we'll see:

- somebody posts a caudata - related photo. The wackier the better.

- people come up with a good caption for the pic and post it below. Visual manipulation of the pic to add props or call-out bubbles is also allowed (and encouraged!).

- after a number of answers - say, at least 3 and maybe no more than 10 - the owner of the pic selects the winning caption.

- the winner then posts the next pic.

Shall we try if this works? I'll post the first pic:

Post your best caption:

The best thing is that I had no idea what this picture would make people think of...for me it's always been Newtferatu:

I can't wait to see the next photo so let's move on. All captions were hilarious, thanks everyone.
There can be only one winner... and the rings are just too good :D

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
