Does it look fuzzy, like cotton wool? Or does it look like it's just the gill-tip deteriorating?

Hi,

Our black axolotl seems to have a white sheen appearing along both her sides and under her head. Could this be fungus growth?

She's eating really well, and very active. We've only had her for three weeks, first time axolotl owners, but all three of us are agreed that this white sheen is there.

Thanks in advance for any advice:happy:

I've bookmarked the 'salt bath sticky' and will get organised to do this if you advise me to.

Mach
