A question about the fake grass stuff you've got in the tank... How do you find it for cleaning up poop from? I've got bare bottom & I don't like it - neither do the axies - trying to figure out an alternative

I am surprised cos both of parents got really short gills, about one centimetre long. They must not be a genetic thing or parents were neglected by previous owner, and I bet on second one. When he was younger they where about third of his body!
