they need feeding up, they are rescues, the brown one has lots of fungus on the tail and gills, the green one has it under its tail and on its foot, both have eyes which appear to have been burnt by ammonia, sad state but fixable with time and care , both of which i will be providing
Both these guys are fully recovered from the fungus and have gained weight and their eyes appear to have suffered no permanent damage. The green axolotl has bred with a female wildtype(het for leucistic) , so hopefully I will beable to raise some lovely green babies. I have sent three batches of these eggs to friends.
I have a couple hundred of the offspring atm, they are an inch or so , be interesting to see how they develop and i will put some pics up as and when the colours develop.
